Ephebopus uatuman, or the emerald skeleton tarantula, is a burrowing tarantula from Brazil known for its olive-green and khaki coloration with white-striped leg joints, and it's named after the Uatuman River. It's a fossorial (burrowing) species that builds extensive web tunnels and is known for being defensive and skittish, making it an intermediate-level pet. They require high humidity, deep substrate for burrowing, and are known for flicking urticating hairs from their mouthparts when threatened.
